Woodleigh Residences enjoys good sales, with 70 units sold during its launch
Woodleigh Residences, which launched over the weekend, has already sold 70 of its units as of 12th May, 10 pm. Developed by Kaijima Development and Singapore Press Holdings, the 99-year leasehold condominium incorporates Japanese design and technology. It was well-received, enjoying good sales despite the current cooling measures; this could be due to its lower psf starting price of $1,733.
At the launch over the weekend, units sold were mostly two- and three-bedroom units, along with three four-bedroom units which were sold for $2,331 psf. Homebuyers were largely locals living across the island; many young couples and smaller families opted for the two-bedders, while inter-generational families bought the larger units.
Japanese-style design and technology
Featuring 11 residential blocks, the 667-unit development sits above The Woodleigh Mall, which connects to Woodleigh MRT station and an air-conditioned underground bus interchange. Units will range from 570 sq ft for a two-bedroom unit to 1,475 sq ft for a four-bedroom deluxe unit. Furthermore, all four-bedroom units come with private lift access. With the project slated for completion in 2022, residents can anticipate Japanese-style living, with an onsen overlooking the Alkaff Lake.
Using Japanese design and technology to maximise space, units will be equipped with various features. They are designed with flushed flooring between the balcony and living room to level the ground for flexible extension of the living space. In addition, removal of specific walls within the unit is easy, with no need for the rewiring of electrical works.
Residents will enjoy high accessibility to a world of amenities
With the development of the upcoming Bidadari Estate, residents will have high accessibility to a myriad of facilities. This includes a community club, and the Bidadari Heritage Walk, which runs alongside the condominium. Residents of Woodleigh Residences will also enjoy spectacular views of the 10ha Bidadari Park.
Located at the junction of Upper Serangoon and Upper Aljunied Roads, the condominium is within 1km of prestigious schools like Maris Stella High School, Cedar Primary School, and Stamford American International School.
Open from 10 am to 7 pm, The Woodleigh Residences’ sales gallery is located next to Nex shopping mall.
